Hi, fellow hubbers! :-)
I'm Nick: Artist/Aesthetic/Adventurer
I draw a lot. The amateur (but fairly impressive) pencil work illustrations in my Hubs are my own. :-) Bliss for me is writing fiction, drawing while listening to my favorite music.
Fav's Visual art: Dali, Klimpt, Hokusai and Hiroshige, Yoshitaka Amano, Nobuyoshi Araki (photo).
Feel free to contact me if you have a collaboration idea. :-)
This Contents Table May Help You Find Relevant Hubs (with helpful descriptions.)
I. Manga and Western Comics
Nightmare Inspector, great illustrations and surreal magical plots. Special feature: Glossary/Japanese culture.
Galaxy 999, the chronicle of a galactic steam train and it's adventures on strange worlds.
Black Butler, certainly one of the more original Manga protagonists a jack-of-all-trades butler protects his wards with martial arts and mystical powers.
Uzumaki, (spiral in Japanese) Easily one of the most unsettling- yet comparatively, not that gory- horror films on the planet, it was inspired by an equally moody, psychological manga.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, before the so-so Hollywood adaptation there was the witty, austere-but-spellbindingly illustrated graphic novel series. Steampunk/Victorian aesthetics.
I'm a pretty spontaneous person, so I'll probably be continually updating my profile and maybe Hubs too! :-)
New Idea: I'm going to make homage drawings to books and movies (that otherwise have my profile picture as the thumbnail) that way I can ad my drawings and give you something funner to look at.
